57th St / Hyde Park Station (Metra)
The Metra Electric station at 57th Street was remodelled in 2011. The station is handicap accessible from 57th St and has entrances on 57th, 56th and 55th streets in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. Two platforms serve all four tracks and nearly all South Shore Line trains stop at this station. This is the recommended station for passengers transferring between NICTD and Metra trains (separate fare required). The main platform buildings are shown above looking southbound from 56th St.

The tracks to the left from the platform are Metra Track 4 and CN-IC tracks 1 and 2. The "roofs" between the CN-IC tracks are over 57th St.|
