Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad (NICTD)
South Bend Amtrak Station
This station building housed the final Eastern stop of the South Shore in South Bend from
1970 when the South Bend street running section was closed until the new station was opened
in 1992 at the South Bend Airport. The building is still used for the South Bend Amtrak station.
There is a small freight yard just West of the station, pictured below.
